Wedding of Sonali & Kush: Colours in the sky
Sonali and Kush held their wedding in Burkill Hall, surrounded by the lushness of Mother Nature. The photos captured were filled with so much colours and happiness!
To honour the customs and traditions, Kush was involved in the Baraat, where guests danced and cheered around him to the beat of an Indian drum.
The wedding ceremony then take place, beneath a mandap designed specially for Kush and Sonali. It was fully ornamented, with intricate details along the structure. We softened the look of it with peach, Cream and off White drapery. Two pots of fresh florals of Pink colour flanked the mandap.
Kush and Sonali then took the Saptadi, a 7 steps ritual symbolizing their vow to love and support each other after marriage. The ceremony ends with Kush applying a red powder to the center of Sonali’s forehead. While this was on going, families and friends watched from their tiffany chairs, with a paper fan in hand which Kush and Sonali prepared.
Dinner kicked in soon after. The venue was decorated with mostly Pink florals in clear and Tiffany Blue vases. The VIP table saw a glittery Gold tablemat, which created a great complement to the vases of Tulip, as well as the large arrangement of Hydrageas, Eustomas and Phalaenopsis orchids. The tables were named after different types of car, as Kush himself is a car lover!
As the night fall, the fairy lights and candles illuminating brightly in the sky.
Shili and Adi serenading the crowd with songs after songs. With more upbeat songs being played, families and friends got off their seat and danced along with the music.
That night, our hearts was filled with so much love and happiness. May such happiness extend to all of you today!
