A Dessert bar photo-shoot: A Dusty Blue flocculence

Throughout the 14 years in the wedding industry, Spellbound has been blessed with wonderful vendors (who became our dear friends!) whom we love working with! Early last month, we were lucky enough to conceptualize a Dessert Photo-shoot with two lovely ladies, namely Joey from The Delights Heaven, as well as Michelle from Awesome Memories!

The concept

Inspired by the fluffiness of tulle, we set out to DIY a backdrop that features a similar soft texture and in the colour of Dusty Blue, Gold and White. The skeleton of the set-up were all hand-made by Spellbound; we painted the take-away boxes with Dusty-blue splashes, created desserts signage on Gold shell-liked placecards, as well as taking charge of the floral arrangements!

What’s a Dessert bar without the dessert? Joey from The Delights Heaven designed and made these mouth-watering and Instagram-worthy desserts! The intricacy of the fondant flowers, as well as the little gold accents brought out the cohesiveness of the dessert photo-shoot!

Desserts: Vanilla Macarons, Cream Cheese Ombre Cake, Chocolate Cake-pops, Meringue Kisses, Vanilla Buttercream cupcakes, Tiered Ombre mini cakes.

Lastly and most importantly, we would like to mention that all photos you see here would not be possible without Michelle from Awesome Memories! We love how she captured all details precisely and we had so much fun working together with her!
