Wedding of Angela & Yuhan: An Oriental Affair
Angela and Yuhan’s love for an oriental taste was well translated to Spellbound at the beginning of their planning process. Our role in the planning process was to suggest and provide our thoughts to assist them in achieving their ideal wedding.
The design for the night revealed oriental ornamentation. Firstly, we designed an Octagon frame with graphics which were close to the couple’s heart or had Chinese significance; Mandarin ducks which is significant to long-lived marriage, a Double-happiness symbol, a running couple which is a tribute to their favourite variety game show, Running Man and of course, their surnames.
To soften the look of the stage décor, we proposed flower boards with their monogram on it. To give it a slight quirkiness, a checkered aisle was installed for Angela and Yuhan to dance down the aisle on!
In the reception area, a brightly lit fairy light tree was built for Angela and Yuhan. This tree doubled up as a wishing tree for guests to pen their well-wishes on!
Blessed marriage, Yuhan and Angela!
