Darren & Sophia Wedding: An Enchanted Wonderland

(This is Part 2/2 of Darren and Sophia’s wedding)

Darren and Sophia’s celebration continues at Shangri-La hotel a few months later. Taking on the theme of a Purple Enchanted Wonderland, Spellbound was briefed not to use Black and White.

Guests were first greeted with an enchanting carousel at the cocktail area, adorned with horses, flowers and crystals. They were also encouraged to pen their well wishes to the newlyweds.

Moving into Island Ballroom, curtains were draped all around the ballroom to soften the look. Despite having Gold curtains throughout, Spellbound managed to cast light on it to make it look ivory, a colour which we felt was more complementing to the Purple hues all around.

On the stage, we created a 20 feet-wide circular ring of floral as the main centerpiece! On second look, doesn’t it remind you of a big carousel?

Flanking the large centerpiece were panels of intricately carved patterns to complete the look of an Enchanted Wonderland. To play with the senses, we prepared mist and gobo lights to create a magical ambience.

Darren Sophia walked down an aisle with 10 feet high floral arrangements such as Hydrangeas, Peonies, Kenyan roses, along with many stringed crystals.

The night was filled with jubilation as everyone toast to the newlywed.

We wish you a joyous and magical marriage, Darren and Sophia!
