Valerie & Vijay: A beautiful cultural fusion

(This is Part 2/2 of Valerie and Vijay’s wedding)

Valerie and Vijay had two separate days of celebration- Registry of Marriage and the wedding reception, each of these worthy of a different style, carefully thought and planned to complement the venue and the setting of the environment.

Designed around the cultural backgrounds of Valerie and Vijay, this wedding is a perfect blend of their Chinese and Indian roots.

The initial stage of brainstorming session involved Valerie assisting us in choosing chinoiserie patterns which were representational of her culture while Taj Mahal was use as an point of reference for Vijay’s cultural roots.

The final stage décor had an illuminating arch and panels with motifs reflecting both cultures in harmony. Flanking the middle entrance was two overhead flower shelters, panels of motifs printed in reflective materials, and also intricate columns running down the stage set-up.

The night was filled with smiles, lights and gratulation as Valerie and Vijay starts their journey as husband and wife!

The Spellbound Team wishes you a merry marriage, Val and VJ!
