Keng Choon & Mei Lan: Of Pine Trees and Orchids

Keng Choon and Mei Lan’s wedding took place high up on Berjaya Hills, in The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort. The beautiful and breezy place that oversees a tropical rainforest is the most ideal place for a reclusion or recuperation of sort.

To throw in a trivia: Do you know that “Keng” is homophonous to “Pine” while “Lan” is to “Orchids”? While there is a handful of Pine Trees around Berjaya Hills, we thought it would only be completed with Orchids around! Thus Orchids were used mainly in the décor for KC and ML.

We envisioned the guests being treated to a romantic celebration filled with fairy lights and dashes of Purple, Pink and White flowers. Instead of a table runner, we lined it with vases of flowers, alternating it with high floral structures of hanging orchids.

We had a photo booth made to reflect the clear blue skies which KC proposed to ML under, an unique table menu and also cookies baked by Delights Heavens as wedding favours. Spellbound also had the honor to design KC and ML's wedding card!
